Today is the day that we always put up the Christmas tree. It's my Mom's birthday. We always put it up on her birthday growing up so it only seems fitting that the tradition continue. Etney was not very interested in the tree going into the living room until I started to put the lights on. She really wanted to help after that. She did a great job! Although her tiny hands and lack of motor skills prevent her from hanging the ornaments properly, she had no problem stuffing them in to the center of the tree so Mom could dig them out and hang them when she was not looking. She does however have the motor skills to remove the ornaments I've already hung. That will be the seasons challenge I am sure. But at least the house is ready for the big day and looks pretty good if I do say so myself. I hope that the Holidays are fantastic for everyone!
